Description

The KBH safety conduit in a plastic housing is a contact-protected conduit for indoor and outdoor installations. The plastic housing can accommodate various copper cross-sections.

– Type KBHF: in 4 and 5-pole versions, with factory-pre-assembled copper strip and spring-loaded connection joints from 63 to 100 A.

– Type KBHS: in 4 and 5-pole versions, with factory-pre-assembled copper strip and screw-connected joints from 63 to 200 A.

Its key features are its compact design, corrosion resistance, and simple assembly. The KBH complies with VDE, European, and international standards and regulations, as well as Accident Prevention Regulations, and has IP 23 protection against direct contact. It can be equipped with neoprene lips and a heating system. The electrical conduit with neoprene lip has an IP 24 protection rating in accordance with EN 60529 (VDE 0470, Part 1).

As you might imagine, electrical outlets are only protected against direct contact if they are completely enclosed in the electrical conduit. In installations with electrical conduits within reach of hands and in which the outlets leave the electrical conduit during normal operation, the customer must ensure protection against direct contact.
