Description

NAT, NDT, and NFT brakes operate without power, acting on a pulley. An electrohydraulic brake lifter is used to open the device, although hydraulic or pneumatic brakes are also available. The range is completed with hydraulic and pneumatic brakes with pressure release, the latter combined with the aforementioned types.

The three elements that make up the braking assembly are:

1) The brake itself (mechanical part) constructed of steel and spheroidal graphite cast iron.

Allows you to regulate the braking torque.

2) The brake lifter or TURBEL with an aluminum housing, a closed oil chamber independent of the engine chamber, and tightness ensured by high-quality seals.

3) The pulley, which can be incorporated into a coupling, is constructed of spheroidal graphite cast iron. It can be supplied with machined holes and dynamically balanced.

Both these brakes and their derivatives are equipped with stainless steel axles and self-lubricating bushings in the joints. The aluminum brake shoes incorporate asbestos-free linings.
