Founded by Don Miguel Abad, an entrepreneur with an tireless spirit, the company was born with the conviction that effort and perseverance can transform major challenges into opportunities.
With a small yet passionate team, Miguel Abad S.A. quickly established itself as a benchmark in the manufacturing of equipment and special parts, earning the trust of the country’s leading industrial players. From its early years, it became a strategic partner to companies such as Tenaris Siderca, participating in projects with national and international impact.

During the 1970s, the company incorporated advanced technology and diversified its capabilities, expanding into key sectors such as steelmaking, the oil industry, and petrochemicals. In 1977, its transformation into a public limited company opened new horizons for expansion.
In the face of globalization challenges in the 1980s, Miguel Abad S.A. specialized in mechanical components for cranes and overhead cranes, focusing on quality and efficiency for international markets. The true global leap came in 2001 with ISO 9001 certification, which strengthened its quality management system and marked the beginning of a new era with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art facility in Burzaco.
Today, with more than seven decades of experience, Miguel Abad S.A. exports to over 20 countries and continues to evolve alongside a highly committed team.
